Welcome to our Adventures

About Escapodyssey

A place where we share with you our adventures in travel.  From America’s west coast, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, to the island of La Palma and main land Europe.  – We travel not only to get away and relax, but also to explore and discover.

Escapodyssey is a sound rich audio journey in which you’re invited to participate.

Each month we will bring you a new episode as well as sharing photos and videos from our trips.

We have deliberately referenced Homer’s Odyssey in our title in order to suggest that not all travel is plain sailing. The Odyssey is one of the world’s oldest works of literature.  It follows Odysseus, king of Ithica, on his journey home from the trojan war. During which time he encountered numerous perils and adventures. The recurrent themes in the Odyssey include return, wandering, testing and omens – and we have come to realize that many of our own adventures include these aspects.
